About Us

Jason & I have known each other since elementary school.  We were never in the same class, but my mom remembers grading his math superstars.  And, we lived in the same neighborhood (Tymber Creek).  He lived in phase 2 and we lived in phase 1.  We also went to the same middle school.  He apparently had a crush on me and I on him, but we never were brave enough to go out with each other then.  We went to rival high schools (we moved to the beach side when I was in 5th grade so we were zoned for different high schools).  He went to Mainland and I went to Seabreeze (or Sleezebreeze as Jason calls it).  We ended up running into each other at a popular bar in town on the night before Thanksgiving in 2004 (a popular night to go out in Daytona and run into everyone from high school or otherwise).  Jason bought me a drink and he thought I was using him (I obviously wasn't), but we exchanged numbers and I guess you could say the rest is history!

Jason proposed on Valentine's Day in 2006

We were married May 12, 2007.

We just had our first beautiful daughter, Brynlee Anne, on November 14, 2011.

We have lived in Henderson, NV now for almost 3 years.  We obviously started in Florida.  We each grew up in Ormond Beach, FL as kids and we both went off to college, but ended up back in Ormond.  I went to FSU for a couple of semesters and he went to St. Andrews College in North Carolina to play golf.  We lived together in Holly Hill for a year or so, and then we bought a house in Deland, FL since I was working in Orlando (it helped with the commute).  We then moved to Charlotte, NC in 2008.  Interplan wanted to start an office there and we volunteered.  We loved it in Charlotte!  We lived there for a year and Interplan decided it wasn't what they expected and they wanted to open an office out west, so we volunteered again.  We made the cross country trek in June 2009.  We lived in an apartment to start with and then we decided to buy a townhouse in July of 2010.  We have had many visitors since living here!
